FC Capital is the registered company name trading as Fast Credit FC Capital Limited is responsible for the processing of your personal information as detailed in this Notice. - When you visit our premises to utilise our services. These services include but are not limited to, the buying and selling of second-hand goods, pawnbroking, and buying and selling foreign currencies or foreign exchange services, repair services and money transfers.
- As part of your loan application and for the purposes of managing your loan agreement.
- From you, from public records and from third parties with your consent.
- From the operation of CCTV in our premises.
- From third parties including Risk Screen and other credit reference agencies who provide identity verification and anti money laundering search services.
The information we collect may include:
- Your title, name, address, telephone numbers and other contact details
- Date of birth
- A copy of photographic identification (your passport or driving licence)
- Proof of your address (for example a recent utility bill)
- Employment information
- Credit record and agreement history

- Your image via CCTV operation
- Information regarding your source of funds, including copy bank statements
- Your image for facial verification
We use your information to:
- Provide you with our services
- Communicate with you by telephone, email, SMS, or post using the contact details you have provided.

- Process transactions with us
- Employment information
- Prevent fraud and money laundering.
- Provide updates on Fast Credit Branches
We use your information because it is necessary for the purposes of enabling us to provide our contractual services to you or to take steps at your request prior to entering into the contract, because it is necessary for compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations, because it is necessary for the purposes of our company's Anti Money Laundering policy for buying and selling second-hand goods, to fulfil our legitimate interest of managing our legal agreement with you, for the safety and security of you and staff members, or (in the case of information regarding you source of funds and your bank statements) with your consent. You do not have to provide us with your personal information where we request it as outlined above but, if you do not, we may not be able to transact with you, or lend to you.
We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal information for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.
We may share your information with:

- HMRC and our foreign exchange wholesaler Travelex as part of their audits into our compliance with Anti Money Laundering Act and for VAT purposes.
- Where we share your information, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.
We store your information:
- Within the United Kingdom
- If we transfer data outside the UK we will ensure that before we do so, there is adequate protection in place to ensure the security of your data. Safeguards are in place to protect such transfers.
- We keep your information secure by storing the information you provide to us either on secure servers, in our branches or in secure off-site storage.
We keep your information:
- for as long as it is needed to manage your account and for a maximum of six years after your account has been closed, which accords with most legal limitation periods in the UK, unless we are required to retain your information for a longer period by law.
- CCTV data is kept for 3 months, however it may become necessary to keep it for longer in the rare event a complaint arises, a theft is committed or an employee misconduct/complaint occurs during this period, and the CCTV is required for review purposes (by authorised personnel).
You have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you.
- ask us to make any changes to your information to make sure it is accurate and up to date.
- ask us to stop or limit our use of or to delete your information in certain circumstances.
- receive your information in a format that suits you.
- transfer your information to a third party.
